Before installation: what to check

Before fixing the chandelier, check three points on your ceiling: the presence of a suitable electrical connection, the ability of the anchoring point to support the weight of the piece (particularly important for Tronchi or multi-disc models, which are heavier), and the available ceiling height once the suspension chain is extended.

Installation: call a professional

Installing a chandelier involves working with the electrical circuit. We always recommend calling a qualified electrician, especially for old homes or installations that do not have a pre-existing light point. This is a modest expense given the safety it guarantees.

Most of our models offer an adjustable suspension chain, generally between 50 and 100 cm: adjust it before final fixing rather than after, to avoid handling the entire light fixture once installed.

Choosing the right bulbs

Each product sheet specifies the type of base (E14 in most of our models) and whether the chandelier is compatible with a dimmer. If you want a warm and enveloping light, opt for LED bulbs around 2700K rather than whiter tones, which are better suited for functional use than for a living room or bedroom ambiance.

Daily maintenance

Blown glass is easy to clean, provided you avoid two common mistakes: abrasive products, which can tarnish the glass surface, and water sprayed directly onto the electrical parts. A soft, slightly damp cloth is sufficient for most stains; for dust accumulated between the glass elements, a soft-bristle duster prevents micro-scratches.

In case of impact or breakage

Blown glass remains a handcrafted material, and therefore more sensitive to impacts than a classic lampshade. If an element cracks or breaks, do not attempt an improvised repair: contact us with photos of the damage.
